Aspen Snow Ball Gala 2025
The Children’s Oncology Support Fund (COSF), founded by film producer and philanthropist Thomas Pierce, celebrated its 3rd Annual Aspen Snow Ball Gala on February 8th at the St. Regis Aspen, hosted by Jay Leno. The "black tie fantasy" event, titled "Oh The Places You’ll Go," raised $3.5 million for pediatric cancer research. Christie Brinkley was honored with the Philanthropic Impact Achievement Award, Rollie Jordan (in her memory) was honored with the Community Leadership Award and guests enjoyed a full concert by Swedish pop star Zara Larsson, and a surprise performance by platinum recording artist Parson James.
The signature gala, hosted by COSF, marked the end of five days of events known as "Aspen Snow Ball Week," which included the Kick-Off Benefit Concert Hosted by Honorary Chair Brooke Burke with Performances by Robin Thicke, and rising talents Luke K., Chloe Jane, and Alexis Silva took place February 6th in partnership with the Aspen Art Museum.
The curated week of events began with a “pre-game” takeover at Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro, followed by a Educational Panel at the Wheeler Opera House, Kick-Off Benefit Concert at the Aspen Art Museum, Shopping Bazaar at a private residence, and Pierce hosted The VIP Night Before Benefactor Dinner with DJ Julia Sandstrom. The Official After Party and Sunday’s closing Super Bowl Party were held at the brand-new ZigZag Restaurant, owned by COSF founding board members Scott & Carly Weber.
"For our third annual signature gala, we raised the bar by offering curated programming for donors that enhanced the guest experience and fostered meaningful engagement with our mission. This year, we aimed to educate our guests and inspire them to help push our impact forward. We wanted our motives to be clear about what we stand for and where we are going,” said Pierce, COSF’s Founding Chairman. The Snow Ball Gala raised funds for Children’s Hospital Colorado as their chosen beneficiary for 2025. COSF supported the pediatric cancer center to fuel sustainability for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) Family Wellness Program through the COSF Fund for Advancement in Wellness. These crucial funds increased the number of licensed social workers providing psychosocial support and licensed art and music therapists. Dr. Bob Casey, Director of the Cancer & Blood Disorders Wellness Program said in an opening video “COSF has been like almost winning the lottery for us”.
Sponsors for the 3rd Annual Snow Ball Gala included Co-Presenting Sponsors ClinConnect and Velocity Black with support from Caymus Wines, Aspen Valley Ranch, Weber Boxer Group, Horse Soldier Bourbon, PATRÓN El Alto Tequila, Streeter Flynn Gin, Aspen Vodka, Desolas Mezcal, Entourage Rosé, and ZigZag, Aspen’s newest hot spot.
