COSF announced the 2023 Aspen Snow Ball Gala with some members of the local philanthropic community. Thomas Pierce, our Founding Chairman, explained “after Covid, foundations alike have been hit with severe fundraising challenges and the difficulties researchers are having to receive grants, I thought what better time to establish a new foundation, one with lean overhead and direct impact to programs and researchers in need.” The event shared our mission, and rallied locals to get involved. 

Chopard sponsored the event along with Founding Board Members Scott & Carly Weber. COSF Ambassador Shari Heuser shared her granddaughter's heart-breaking experience with diagnosis, and Dr. Jennifer Winkelreid called for urgent attention on pediatric cancer support. The silent auction raised funds to bootstrap the inaugural Aspen Snow Ball Gala and the formation of Children’s Oncology Support Fund. Additional sponsors included Lalo Tequila, Ripe Life Wines, and Tito’s Vodka for your donations.
